Welcome to The Hollygarth
The Hollygarth is a friendly, welcoming members’ club located on Leeds Road in the heart of the beautiful Wharfedale town of Ilkley, West Yorkshire.
With roots dating back to the 1930s, the club originally began life in a rented house across the road — still known today as Hollygarth House. Since then, it has grown into a well-established part of the local community.
In 1967, The Hollygarth moved to its current site on the former Co-Op retail store, with the addition of the function room in 1976/77 — creating the perfect space for social events, celebrations, and gatherings.
Special Events
We host a wide range of special events throughout the year, from live entertainment to themed nights and celebrations.
Non-members are always welcome to join us for events in the function room — everyone is welcome to enjoy what The Hollygarth has to offer.

The Hollygarth is proud to boast some of the best snooker tables in the area, with four teams competing in local leagues — creating a great atmosphere for players and spectators alike.

Community Focus – Defibrillator Fundraiser
Hollygarth Social Club is currently fundraising to purchase a community defibrillator for the club and its members.
Throughout the World Cup, we will be holding a number of fundraising events, competitions and activities to help raise money towards this important piece of life-saving equipment.
Donation points will be available within the club, and any support, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated.
Together, we can help make Hollygarth a safer place for our members, guests and the wider community.
